Thank You!!

Well I had three comments and I awarded packets to all three.
I think I agree that you have to do linky parties and hop around.
I have no clue how to do the "linky" parties.  Guess that really is
telling my age.  UGH!!
Okay but here is something I am pretty good at . This is a picture of my tennis buds who I wake up every Saturday morning at 6AM and then drive for 1 hour just to play tennis with them at 8 AM.
It is a great group just like all of you although they are a little more vocal.
Enjoy the weekend and my SALE. Michele

100 Followers...HELP!

Okay I am looking for a creative way to get to 100 followers.  Not that I don't appreciate all of you, because I do, BUT I look at other blogs and think....Hmmm...how do they get that many followers.  Even many of you have 100's as I visit your blog.
Best idea gets a FREE packet of choice.
Ready, Set, Go!!
This picture looks about how I am feeling!  Can you say "old and frazzled"?

A "freebie" hot off the press!

A little something just for you!!  Eight pages of fun with this little mouse and his adventure to find a new home!  After all..."there is no place like home!"

Informational Text for the Common Core

I changed my mind and I DID add Informational Text to my full ELA package or it can be purchased individually.  It was just way too important SO if you purchased or got for free the ELA package go back and download it again for the addition of this piece.  Michele

The Three Little Pigs and a "freebie"!

I worked this weekend to finish this up.  I am so excited to use it as we head back to school.  As I rewrote this unit I really focused on the common core standards for building literacy. My favorite though is the cute little "piggie" I came up with for a craft.

Sunday, Sale, Set of Calendars for "free"!

It's Sunday and I am having a SALE until Tuesday on all my new Common Core Products!
Just an FYI!
And for you if you can use them here are August and September to get you organized for what's soon to come! I am just amazed at how fast the summer is flying by.  I have not been to see my room at school yet but that will have to be done soon to see if it has been cleaned yet and whether or not I can get in to start working in the near future.  Put all my bulletin boards up before school was out.  That is always helpful...BUT there is still so much to be done before the school year begins.  Hmmmm I wonder if parent's think we walk in the day before school and "POOF" we are ready to begin?

How did you spend your summer vacation? and a "freebie"

I have spent most of my vacation at my cottage.  I was so lucky over the 4th to have all the "men in my life", three sons and husband, together at the lake. Oh and how dare I forget Jack my year old lab!!
Where I spend a great deal of time with a good book.
All have graduated and are now living and working in Cincinnati

This is him as a puppy.  He now is 95 pounds and spends every minute he can in the lake.

So this idea spurred me spending time to create a packet for students to share when we return to school what exciting things they did over their summer vacation.  As I prepared it I took time to match activities to the Common Core goals.  So here is what the end result was:

And I thought you might appreciate a little "freebie".  Hope you enjoy it.  Michele

More Common Core

Once I get all the assessment strands complete for the Common Core Language Arts I will share.
Just put up part 2 which pertains to the Foundational Skills.
I am confident that the "I Can" cards will help strategies for grouping, center work and technology practice.
More to come...
