The September poetry set includes four poems with fall themes.
I use the set shown here to sent home to parents.
This packet is perfect for a poem a week.
There is also a "cootie catcher" to use for comprehension.
Each poem has a page in color for posting, an activity page for the student and a bookmark which I run on heavy paper. The activities are differentiated for writing or drawing depending on student level.
Next there are cards for printing on heavy paper and cutting out. I then put these and the page with the poem on it in an area where students can put the poem in order. It is wonderful for word recognition and a small group activity if you wish.
Starting in October each student has their own cut and paste page with sentences.
