If You Give a Mouse A Brownie

YES...a brand new Laura Numeroff story!
So much fun as a literary companion.

I think your class will love the activities I have prepared to accompany this story.
A cute craft and page topper.

The vocabulary cards are colorful and can be used for sequencing or posting.
Word work includes:  syllables, parts of speech, ABC order, word search

And how about a BROWNIE day?
Give each child a brownie.
Bring in toppings (ice cream, whip cream, sprinkles, chocolate, and cherries)
What will your kiddos top their brownie with and then they write about it.
There is also a data collection sheet for which topping they like best.

For writing practice there are "how to" activities.

Comprehension includes...sequencing, summarizing, cause and effect, favorite part.

There are even two math games for partner practice focusing on addition and subtraction to 12.

Finally more writing for If You Give A Mouse a Brownie.
(Final differentiated writing pages not shown here.)
