I am so excited about this new packet I just put together. It features 4 of my favorite Jan Brett holiday stories. I completed the packet to included balanced literacy (Daily Five + some extra) for an entire week as well as a few mathematics activities to complete my "Math 4 You" rotations. Each and every activity focuses on a Common Core Standard including narrative, informational and opinion writing. Here is a preview of the 60 page packet and a little "freebie" for you!!
I love your blog! I especially liked your Polar Express stuff and your little elf booklet. I teach 1st grade, too :) Our elf is coming out of hiding on Tuesday, so your elf activity is perfect for my kids.
