If You Take A Mouse To School

An all time favorite.
The mouse craft is simple and will look adorable hanging in your classroom.
The activities include:
Sequencing...students make a mini flip book by cutting and pasting the story parts in order.
Compare and Contrast...your day to the day the mouse had.
Differentiate...What do you do at school?
Reading for Detail...Use the text to answer questions.
Fact or Fiction...how do you know?
Create your own story...If you take a ______ to school.

Word Work...ABC Order, Parts of Speech, Word Search
Writing...Vocabulary Cards for posting, pre write organizers, final copy page.
Mini Book...perfect for the writing center.

And check out this adorable cookie treats.
Give each child a ball of dough on a piece of wax paper.
Break the ball into one large and two smaller balls for the ears.
Use M&M's for the eyes and nose.
Bake...mmmmmmmmm
I buy the already made cookie dough.
Make sure it is chilled.
A little flour may help the dough from sticking to the students fingers.
Put their name on the piece of wax paper.
