Fun with Fire Safety!

Love these activities for the classroom on fire safety!!

I love the informational text and then an activity for assessment and to gather key facts from the text.

And I did not forget about word work.  Here are a few of my favorites.

No need to leave math activities out especially if your theme for the week is "fire safety".

These activities allow students time to reflect read and label.

I include these book suggestions and then activities to accompany each one. (not shown)
And check out the page topper.  Simple and quick.  Perfect for displaying student work and writing.

Even poetry is included in this packet and then an activity using text to answer questions.
Below is a site I love to visit with my class.
Tons of activities.

I spotted these adorable snacks from Mrs. Willis and thought they would be fun to make.

  1. Fire suppression strategies had a strong capacity to compensate for climate change effects. However, strong active fire suppression was necessary to accomplish such compensation, while more opportunistic fire suppression strategies derived from recent fire history only had a variable, but generally weak, potential for compensation of enhanced fire impacts under climate change.
