Next week we are off to the apple orchard. Each year we print apple shirts for the entire class to wear.
They work as name tags, a fun project and makes it easy to spot our students.
Apple printing is messy business BUT... |
The end results are awesome! |
Those shirts look amazing! I'm impressed! Is that fabric paint then? You should do a post about how you made those. I seriously have no idea and would love to do it!
ReplyDeleteCynthia,
ReplyDeleteYes it is fabric paint and either a tshirt or sweatshirt, any color or type as long as they are a solid color.
You cut your apple in half, length wise, rub it on sandpaper to get a level surface, dip it in the paint and there your have it.
The stems and seeds are then added with brown and the leaf is done with a sponge. Fun, easy, adorable.
