Well we are down to the final days!  It is a challenge keeping the class in order while trying to complete assessments, prepare progress reports and complete all the last minute paper work.  But somehow we all get through it ...RIGHT?
Okay so here is my final effort for this years class.
I hope to send them off ready to enjoy the summer and stay engaged with learning.  Michele

Teacher Ideas

Not a freebie but a free idea that is not new.
In cleaning out my closet I found these two oldies but goodies.
I am going to clean them up and fix them up over the summer and bring them back.
The first is my reading coat made from a lab jacket.  I have some "fresh" ideas for it.

This is an old teachers tool belt I created.  Went to Walmart and picked up some new ones and I am going to get creative over the summer

Night Sighting...

For any of you following my owl story here is a picture of mama in her new nesting house watching over here babies.

Here eyes are glowing.  If you blow it up you can see her  head.
She is so cute.  I'd love to peek in but I think she may not appreciate it.

This is such an amazing story!  We were having two huge dead trees removed when they found a Screech Owl's nest with 4 precious babies.  They asked what we wanted done.  We called Nature's Nursery who came and removed the babies and brought a nesting box which we hung.  We waited anxiously for mama to return and yep...she is back and caring for her wee little ones.

Friday Freebie!

I feel like it has been ages since I posted. There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day..and I know you can all relate to that.  Monday we are going to spend the day on sharks as we continue our "dive" into the ocean blue.  Here are some goodies for you that I created to accompany some of my activities.
