Simple but effective. A wonderful piece of literature with delightful illustrations to capture "little ones" attention and a story line that encourages activities to promote learning.

 To support vocabulary there is a "match us up" and I love the "My Favorite" page because students are responsible for identifying color, characteristic, habitat and animal group.
