This packet is so exciting! It uses some of my favorite literature by one of my favorite authors/illustrators. Kevin Henkes writes stories that really help young children explore comprehension standards and delve into character analysis. Lilly has a distinctive personality and her stories always have a problem with a solution. Chrysanthemum is easy to describe and faces a problem that helps relating text to self. Wemberly worries, Chester is a reliable friend, and Sheila is brave!
