Take a "SELFIE" and Write About YOU!
I love using these "selfie" activities as a form of ”progress check”. I start at the beginning of the school year and monthly add to the student booklet.
The resource includes a number of ideas to use each month. There are activities for gathering student thoughts and then encouraging them to write.
Choose between the penmanship line or a straight line.
Draw, gather ideas, write!
It is always fun seeing the improvement they make through the year.
Or use as a wonderful way to engage and excite students about writing.
