Force and Motion ... Let's Play Ball!

Your class will love learning about Force and Motion with a baseball theme.
Think about the force of the bat hitting the ball.
And what about motion...roll, bounce, throw in a straight line.
There is so much to learn and being able to have something real life to relate it to certainly helps!


Look at these two baseball cuties!
(The hat has a visor that folds up.)
You can pick your own team colors.


There is informational text for reading and highlighting key details.

There are 12 vocabulary cards for posting.
ABC order, word work, vocabulary 

Push or Pull...cut and paste.

Lots of position words (prepositions)

Objects in motion includes roll, back and forth, around, zig zag, straight ahead.

There are also suggestions for experimenting with speed.

My favorite is the "road trip" game.
Your class will enjoy playing it in small groups as they review key details on force and motion.
