Mother's Day!

Moms think their children are cute as a button so why not a button theme for Mother's Day.
Mom holds everything together like buttons and clips and more!
Read on to find out more about this packet and the activities found in it.

I love the DO NOT DISTURB sign ideal for mom on Mother's Day.
And to showcase student writing about mom the page topper is perfect.

I begin preparing for the special activities with an interview with mom.
When the interviews are returned students can record the facts on the graphic organizers.

And what about a KWL?
What did you know about your mom, what did you learn and what do you still wonder?

There are so many differentiated graphic organizers to help students prepare their thoughts.
You will love how prepared the students are to write.
There are also pages for final writes not shown here.

Word work is about ABC order, syllables, a word search, and unscramble the words.
Vocabulary is colorful and perfect for posting.

Another favorite is Meet my Mom!

There are comprehension activities to accompany each of the stories above.
Four of them are shown below.
