Click Clack Boo! A Literary Companion

This is an adorable literary companion for the story Click, Clack, Boo! 
by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin. 
Those silly farm animals are at it again and of course duck is sure to have something to do with the ruckus.
You class will love the story and these activities will provide an opportunity for you to add comprehension practice and writing along with the reading.

There is a Duck in costume to top the student writing pages about the "best costume".
Colorful vocabulary cards also accompany the packet for posting.

 Writing includes:
Sensory...at the barn party they might hear, see, taste.
Summary...  Somebody wanted but so.
Opinion...Halloween is spooky or fun?
Comprehension focuses on Cause/Effect, Sequencing, and Story Elements.
These are ideal to use after sharing the story with the class.
Word work is also included and can be placed in your literacy center.
