Reaching the end of the year and keeping everyone engaged and learning is always a challenge.
Students get restless and teachers are overwhelmed by the amount of things that need to get done.
Therefore, instead of making those final days a joy and exciting, days tend to drag on and you, the teacher, feel exhausted just trying to keep the students focused and in control.
This my friends is the main reason I created these three resources.
BUT upon creating them I am even more excited to have found these tips:
- Many of the slides for the themed days could be used for any Award Day or Fun Friday NOT just for the End of the Year.
- I like using the Interactive Google Slides in combination with the paper pencil resources. Now that we are back in the classroom they are ideal for a center or computer time.
- The slides focused on today were created for Virtual Learning but can be used for face to face as well.
Todays focus will be on ABC Countdown to Summer A to Z ...Google Slide Invitations
These were originally designed for Virtual Learning but I have found that they are also fun for announcing ahead of time what is happening in the classroom and when.
Let's take a look at what all is included.
**Note:
1. A, B, G, L , M and W are somewhat different from the Google Slide Bundle and Paper Pencil Bundle because they were created for virtual learning and the activities provided make a better fit. I am working on creating slides to match the Interactive Google Slides and Paper Pencil Resource and they will be ready soon. No need to repurchase they will just be added to the Google Slide Resource
2. Now that many schools are back in the classroom teachers still love using these as an invite for parent information. I also ask parents to take a picture and send it to me as I LOVE creating slide shows to send home to share how much fun we had. These are really appreciated by all. These slides can be used if students are still learning virtually or back in the classroom.
Send the invitation and activity slide for students to prepare ahead of time.
The day of the event students come ready on camera or to the classroom to celebrate.

No mess and easy clean up.
What about having each student write a letter to their teacher for next year telling them about themselves.
Even if they don't know who the teacher is you save them and put them with the appropriate teacher.
