Reaching the end of the year and keeping everyone engaged and learning is always a challenge.
Students get restless. Teachers are overwhelmed by the amount of things that need to get done.
Therefore instead of making those final days a joy and exciting, days tend to drag on and you, the teacher, feel exhausted just trying to keep the students focused and in control.
This my friends is the main reason I created these three resources.
What fun filled activities these are while still encouraging learning.
Upon creating them I discovered these tips:
- Many of the slides for the themed days could be used for any Award Day or Fun Friday NOT just for the End of the Year.
- I like using the Interactive Google Slides in combination with the paper pencil resources. Now that we are back in the classroom they are ideal for a center or computer time.
