Back to School ... What shall we do???

Welcome aboard!!
Will it be smooth sailing OR rough seas?
I guess only time will tell.  Some of you may already know your "back to school" expectations and others may still be wondering if they will be preparing for distance learning, in the classroom or a little of both.
No matter what get ready by some class decor!
If you are in the classroom these materials are perfect to fill bulletin boards and to provide visuals.
If you are going to distance learning many of these pieces can be used to greet students in the morning and to send messages.
Let's take a peek!!

If students are coming back name tags, desk tags and locker tags are a must.
These are editable and fit your classroom theme.
I use the smaller ones as stickers so students can wear them each day until I have their names put to memory. They can also be used with a substitute or for special areas.
Just run them on the full labels found at Office Max.
No pins, no yarn.
Just peel and stick.

If you have tables I like to hang these from the ceilings to identify tables.
I also give each student a number for easy identification and passing out papers.
You can also say:  All odd numbers line up.  Numbers between 5 and 10 meet me at the chat chair.
The "Ahoy Matey" is editable for you to put student names with their numbers.

This packet also includes letters for labeling a bulletin board...Welcome back".
And I love the pennants.  Just attach to string, yarn or ribbon and hang across a board, the front of your desk, etc.  Using clear plastic frames I post the "Welcome Aboard" and place it in a visual spot.

At Open House I always get a picture of each student BUT if that isn't possible have parents send one in or take on another day.  These frames a "picture perfect".  Place the student picture in the frame and add a name.  Put them on a bulletin board with Welcome Back!

The behavior section is for posting and talking over with students about positive choices.
There are also notes for sending home.  Ahoy matey!  You were such a big help or super student and then check what they did OR You need to be careful ...check what they need to work on.  These go home to parents.

And I absolutely LOVE the alphabet and the numbers.
Copy, cut, laminate, post.
If you are not going back to school but distance learning place these on tag board and use as a background.

The same can be done with telling time and the calendar.
So cute with lots of clip art to decorate with.

Getting children home those firsts few days is always a challenge.
Complete the "here we go" which is editable so it is in a visual spot.

The packet also has...Posters for centers, a cover for your teacher binder, a birthday chart with a sailing theme, and school supply lists are running low.

Your room will be SAILING HIGH and so adorable to excite students about learning.

Now if distance learning is what it will be try these.
What fun for meeting the class.
Meet the teacher...

 Meet each student...
Make a class video using these slides.
 How many students...
 About the school...

Then there are the daily slide shows.
I love having a student of the day.
You can send it to parents ahead of time to help them fill it out.

 Greet the students each morning.
Fill in the calendar with the month and numbers.  Then add special dates.  A bus for first day of school.  A camera for picture day.
And if it is distance learning what are the suggested ideas for success.
This slide allows you to write your own.
These sheets allow you to put the assignments for the day.
