Just in time for Mother's Day...a resource for distance learning!!
These slides can be used as a PP slide show or  Slides perfect for Google Classroom or other online sharing for your students.
**Note:
The Distant Learning resources are meant to encourage lessons online. They are not editable and students cannot write on them.
Students use notebooks or paper pencil.
I have worked and worked to fix sharing the link but it continues to break down so the easiest way to get the programs:
1.Open you zip file
2.If you wish to use Google go to your Google Docs and upload the Slides.  These can then be put into Google Classroom.
3.If you are sending a Power Point presentation open the PP.
I use Google Classroom and in the note part welcome students and share what we are going to be doing today.  I include links to stories and videos about the topic.
It begins with an interview with mom and then encourages the student to write about their mom.
Next there is a Mother's Day story for them to read and they then answer recall questions using the text.
One slide focuses on adjectives.  Students put the adjectives in ABC Order and then decide which adjective best describes their mom.
My favorite is "imagine"...imagine your mom had a magic wand, had a day to herself, had a free vacation.  Students pick one and then write and illustrate what their mom would do.
The resource ends with a math game using a deck of cards for mom and student.  The game focuses on three card addition and the smallest sum.
So much fun!!

From the author and illustrator of HOW TO BABYSIT GRANDMA AND GRANDPA comes another delightful story by Reagan and Wildish...HOW TO RAISE A MOM!
