Welcome to camp!!
This resource was designed to help YOU connect with YOUR students from afar.
The slides are perfect for engaging students in reading, writing, word work and math with a camp theme!
The resource begins with text about camping..
Students use the text to report details found in the text.
Next students will read about "SMORES". Yum
The students will then write a sequence story about how to make a "SMORE"!
Can you imagine a day camping with your family or friends?
Students are asked to write their opinion about what activity would be the best to do while camping.
Students will also prepare a list of what would be needed for a camping trip.
Word Work includes using camping vocabulary to put into ABC order and to listen for syllables.
The final slide focuses on camping story problems for students to solve.
